Dear CPE Families and Friends, Please share widely! In September 1974, Central Park East opened its doors. This year, your family is invited to celebrate our fiftieth anniversary. Please click here to see October events. You are invited to a film screening on October 8; special discussions, visits to classrooms, and All-School Sing on October 18; and alumni gatherings at Fall Festival and beyond on October 19. Help us plan for the right number of people for each event. Please fill out this quick form to tell which events you will attend. If you are coming to Fall Festival, you can pre-order your child’s alumni hoodie. The design features CPE’s very first logo, with the current logo tucked inside. The hoodies come in five colors, one for each decade. The color of the hoodie will signal to everyone at Fall Festival when your child attended CPE1. While you are ordering, you can pick up a fiftieth anniversary tee-shirt for yourself. We are expecting a big homecoming in October.
